Tony Attwood to Keynote Annual Seminar on Autism/Asperger's Syndrome

Doylestown, PA (March 13, 2006) – Foundations Behavioral Health and Future Horizons, the world’s leading autism/Asperger's publisher will co-sponsor a full-day seminar on autism/Asperger’s on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at the Trevose Radisson Hotel in Trevose, PA. The conference features world-renowned Australian psychologist Tony Attwood, Ph.D., author of the best-selling book, Asperger’s Syndrome: A Guide for Parents and Professionals. Dr. Attwood is a practicing clinical psychologist at MacGregor Specialist Center in Australia, with 30 years of experience in the field of Asperger's Syndrome. He maintains a clinical practice that includes clients in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States.

During his fascinating presentation, Dr. Attwood will discuss “Encouraging Social Understanding and Emotion Management.” He will provide in-depth perspectives and ideas on Asperger’s Syndrome and high-functioning autism. Participants will also learn more about the difficulties faced in adolescence, emotion management and how negatives can be turned into positives in both the lives of the individuals and their caregivers.
