ACCESSING CARE
 Foundations
Behavioral Health is the only freestanding child and adolescent
psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center in Bucks
County, PA. Foundations Behavioral Health provides a full
continuum of care for children, adolescents, young adults,
and their families
Various levels of treatment programs are available — from
outpatient treatment, which is the least restrictive level
of care — to the acute inpatient treatment program,
designed for children and adolescents who are at risk of
suicide, exhibiting out-of-control behavior, or suffering
from a psychiatric condition that requires hospitalization.
 The
Clinical Assessment Center (CAC) at Foundations Behavioral
Health is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The CAC
provides assessment, evaluation, and level of care determination
based on the individual’s clinical need. The Clinical
Assessment Center is staffed with licensed behavioral healthcare
professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists and counselors.

All admissions to our acute inpatient, partial hospitalization,
and residential treatment programs come through the Clinical
Assessment Center.

Foundations
Behavioral Health is a preferred provider for most HMO, PPO,
and managed care insurance plans. We also
accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, CHAMPUS, TRICARE, Medicare,
and Medical Assistance Programs. Foundations Behavioral Health
will also provide financial assessments for those patients
who are uninsured and will assist in the application of medical
assistance coverage or sliding scales programs if applicable.
